This series of paintings was made in the summer of 2020 in Portland, Oregon, alluding to the lush green neighbourhoods of the city. The neighbourhood I was living in at the time was once an old suburb, now home to extra large lots with huge gardens, farms, animals and flowers right in the middle of the city. I was thinking about sustainability, home and community, while out on my daily walks.
Crafted with professional quality acrylics for lasting colour and durability.
Acrylic, graphite and collage on cradled panel
