Watch Commission

This project was a collaborative commission with Schmutz Watches. The client commissioned this painted watch for an anniversary gift for her husband.

The husband’s favorite color is purple, and we thought it would be fun to go for a monochromatic palette since the surface area was so small. The watchmaker shipped me the brass watch face. I then painted it in my studio, and sent it back him to assemble. It was a fun way to collaborate with another small business in an entirely new format!
